Why You Should Pluck

“Women like a charming look”
Plucking might seem like a totally female habit, but unless you were born with perfect hair in perfect places, you might need some help. There’s something to hairy men who can rock it, but unless it’s an even coat in all of the right places it doesn’t count. So go out and buy yourself a pair of tweezers because…
You’ll End Up Looking More Masculine
You don’t have to remove a ton of hair or shape it in a different way than you’ve already got. But if you take the time to clean up your brows, you’ll end up looking angled and sculpted, both of which are very manly features. In order to get a masculine looking eyebrow, you have to remove just a few hairs. First you have to decide how much hair you want to have in the middle of them. Despite the myth that there shouldn’t be hair there, it will actually help you still keep a touch of natural man after grooming your brows. If you want it all gone, then by all means pluck away ONLY the hair in the middle of your brows and leave the thicker ones that begin your brows alone. Otherwise just think it out a little and leave a little fuzz behind. If you’re afraid you’ll go too far, get a pencil and put it right next to your nostril and line it up with your brow. You should never go past that point and mess with your brows.
You’ll Look Cleaner
Once you’ve thinned out the middle, move on to the actual brow. Removing the excess hairs will end up making you look cleaner and neater without using any extra products or shower time. When you’re plucking your brows, never go into the meat of them. That is, the main shape where they’re lying. Think of it this way: if you were to draw your face on a piece of paper, where would your eyebrows go? Got it? Good, don’t mess with that part.
The little hairs outside of the lines you put down your eyebrows can go because you don’t even think of them as being part of them. When you start removing, try not to add any arch to the under part of your brow, otherwise you might end up with a curve that is a signature female trait for eyebrows.
Why Plucking Is Better Than Waxing

“Plucking is painful but less than waxing”
While it might seem easier to just go to a salon and get your eyebrows waxed, it’s going to take away a lot of your masculinity and naturalness. Waxing does give a really slick, clean look… which is why you don’t want it. The block that is left behind for brows looks really drawn on and fake, and definitely signals that you’ve had work done on them. Leaving brows natural looking from plucking will not only keep your secret, but actually make it seem like the rest of the hair in that area is neat and natural. Many men also seem to have a fuller head of hair when their eyebrows are tamed.
